P1ay is an investigation of the dynamic relationship between audio and visual spaces as mediated through an interactive interface and a gamepad. It explores the use and exploitation of sound as a principal channel for conveying meaning and aesthetic qualities in an interactive setting: the player is invited to explore the intricate changes in the visual-spatial environment that are affected by user-controlled graphic interpretations of audio iterations.
Exhibited at Institute of Contemporary Arts Singapore, LASALLE as part of Encounters. The exhibition explores the expansive nature of design as an experience, process and worldview.
